. . . The Stories

(Story list...)

Each of the seven stories in this collection of Branch Water Tales© highlights different aspects of life in the isolated rural communities deep in the highlands of the Southern Appalachian Mountains.

The links take you to the opening scene of each story. The writer chooses to present the opening scenes because they paint a picture of the life and times of the characters; the scenes may not be the most dynamic in the stories.

At the end of each scene is a link that will take you to more happenings in the story. These scenes represent the 'flavor' of the stories.

The writer would appreciate your comments on the stories or any aspect of the book. If you read the book and would like to post a review on this web site, you may do so through email.
